Silico-manganese

Silicon Manganese alloy is one type of alloy in consist of Mg,Si,Fe and little Carbon and others element, its one type of
ferroalloy in widely usage and high yield. It is the common use composite deoxidizer in steel making, can also be the reductant to
produce the manganese metal in electro-silicothermic process dealing with low carbon manganese ferro.

1.Silicon manganese alloy is mainly used as the intermediate material of deoxidizer and alloying agent in steel production to
eliminate excess oxygen and sulfur in molten steel and improve the quality and performance of steel.
2.Silicon manganese alloy can
significantly improve the elasticity and magnetic conductivity of steel. Therefore, silicon manganese alloy should be used when
smelting structural steel, tool steel, spring steel and silicon steel for transformer.
3.Silicon manganese alloy can reduce the
brittleness of steel, improve the hot workability of steel, and improve the strength, hardness and wear resistance of steel.
